It is so easy to PRAY for ourselves and our loved ones, perhaps even close friends. But how many of us really PRAY for the world we live in? We should! One of the main reasons I diligently watch the news is so that I can pray when I hear about injured or missing adults and babies. The world may be on a collision course with the end but that does not mean we are not to PRAY for the needs of others and intercede for the lost, the hopeless, and the helpless. When we PRAY we don't need to seek God's hand...we need to seek His face. Sometimes I look around and wonder what is the point of stuff...you sure can't take it with you so why PRAY for material items. I am not saying we should become destitute and live in a shack...just PRAY for and be mindful of others. God wants us to enjoy our life, however along the way...we have a job to do. So when when we PRAY...let us remember to add people we don't know to our prayer list. A great place to start is for the Christians around the world who live in areas where religion is restricted or in hostile areas. I have come to realize through the years that many people have no choice what religion they are...at least on the outside, because their whole country may be expected to be one religion and even then there is conflict. Collecting Facebook friends? PRAY for them...everyone who crosses our path is there for a reason...if only for a season. I PRAY that God will show us those who need our prayers and that we will follow the prompting of the Holy Spirit and PRAY for them. Stay blessed!
IF MY PEOPLE WHO ARE CALLED BY NAME WOULD HUMBLE THEMSELVES AND PRAY AND SEEK MY FACE AND TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS, THEN I WILL HEAR FROM HEAVEN, AND I WILL FORGIVE THEIR SIN AND WILL HEAL THEIR LAND (2 Chronicles 7:14)
Let Us PRAY!
